Sometimes the wait for fish on Friday night can be difficult. Other times it can be downright brutal. This was a brutal one.
Our party of five waited much longer than we were supposed to and in the end decided to just cut our losses and get a to-go order. To their credit, the lake perch order was massive and easily worth the $17 price tag.
The 1/2 lb of perch was excellent, the fries were plentiful, the tartar was uniquely delicious, and the slaw was pleasant.
Man, if only we could have sat and eaten in a reasonable time frame... this could have been one for the ages.
