Comment: Sometimes good things turn up in unexpected places… for example the 3-piece cod from The Cider Farm (yes, the cider bar in the same building as Brennan's).
The fish has a cider batter which was surprisingly flavorful and exceptionally crispy. The smashed potatoes had an equally inviting crunch, the slaw had a sweet and subtle heat, and the tartar paired perfectly with the delicate fish. Overall, it was a tasty as it was pretty.
