Comment: Winner winner Fish Fry for dinner! It’s not often that I get asked to come try a Fish Fry by the owner of the establishment, but when I do, I try to oblige (not immediately of course). I finally made it over to the @redroostermadison and was really impressed with their decadent beer battered cod. It was a remarkable rendition boasting a lush batter that was 100% grease-free. Truly remarkable. The fries spent a minute more than they should have in the fryer but we’re still 100% edible, the tartar was thin but very user-friendly, and the slaw was incredibly fresh and delicious. Top it all off with a big pull tab win and it makes it very easy to overlook the bars on the windows and the crazy fiesta going on at the shop/storage facility next door. Overall, the FFF at the RR is was definitely rewarding and something worth crowing about.
